The Red Sox just left the bases loaded in the 5th inning, which is noteworthy considering they had any baserunners at all.
Make no mistake, the Yankees are good and the Sox are not great - but the Red Sox are really not this bad. It's possible this season devolves into a complete disaster, a la 2006 but I would be a little surprised if we're not seeing rock bottom here, this weekend in NY.
