The Week in Review

This week we spent some time baking cupcakes (Matthew's first time "cooking"), going to the beach and visiting with good friends (Carter, Laura and Olive Browning).

Hot hot hot!

Matthew and I have been enjoying the wonderfully hot weather the past few days. Yesterday we spent the day by our new pool and this morning we went to the beach.

Back to the Farm

Footage of Matthew from Mother's Day.

Circus and the Fair

Some pictures from the Big Apple Circus with Aunt Rachel and Matthew's first fair. He was a very big boy and went on a car ride all by himself. Wow, is he getting big!

Road Rage at Davis' Farmland

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!

Today was my first Mother's Day and it was a day that I will treasure forever. We spent the day having fun with Matthew at Davis' Farmland. We fed and pet bunnies, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, donkeys and cows. We also went on a hay ride which Matthew loved because it was pulled by a tractor (unfortunately the tractor wasn't driven by Uncle Brad). I don't know what Matthew liked the best, but the highlight for me was watching Matthew ride a pony. I didn't think we'd get further than a few steps before he yelled "OFF!", but to my surprise he loved it and screamed "MORE" when it was over. We are already thinking of going back here again this summer. What a great day!!

Some Pics

Today Matthew and Jodi went into Boston to see the Swans return to the Duck Pond in Boston's public garden. I am not sure where the swans actually go in the first place but apparently, in early spring, they are returned to the scene amidst pomp and circumstance including a marching band, a mounted policeman and lite snacks catered by the Four Seasons.

Jodi took Matthew on a swan boat ride and Matthew liked seeing the ducks. The weather was really nice and they both had a nice time.

Here are some pictures as well as a couple more of Matthew hanging out. Note Matthew on his horse and sitting with me. As you can see he is sitting and crossing his legs "like daddy".

Today was a fun day!

We had a very busy day filled with lots of fun today. We spent the morning at the Museum of Science. Matthew loved the dinosaurs! Then we had a delicious lunch at the Cheesecake Factory which Matthew almost slept through (he woke up just as they put the food on the table). Since it was such a beautiful day, we went home to grab Belle and head to the park where Matthew and Belle ran around together and shared a love of popsicles.
