We had a wonderful birthday weekend! I love having my birthday the day after Matthew. Last night we had a delicious Italian dinner to celebrate my birthday. Tonight Matthew decided to read Ratatouille a story. Fun times!

Just one short year ago...

AND TODAY....

Happy Birthday Matthew!!!

I still cannot believe that our little boy is 3 years old already!! He has grown up so much this past year. Today we celebrated Matthew's birthday by continuing our tradition, that we began last year, of going to Salem Willows amusement park and then Victoria Station for dinner. I was worried that since we were trying to re-do the fun we had last year today could be a bust, but it was just as fun. Since Matthew is "biiigggg" now he was able to play video games and air hockey in the arcade. Then we went to the amusement rides and he rode the merry-go-round, boats, motorcycles, and lady bug rides. We ate slush by the water too! The beautiful weather definitely helped out in our great day! We then headed to Salem Center to go to Victoria Station. We went here last year thinking it was like the old time restaurant that was in a train car, but it wasn't anymore. Although the food is still delicious! Matthew feasted on new england clam chowder, salad bar, haddock from daddy, prime rib and mashed potatoes. We sat by the water and looked at all the boats. It was a truly wonderful day for all of us!
