A Salute To Jodi

Jodi is on top of things. I am not particularly surprised at how well Jodi has done with our little boy considering she has had some practice and has been preparing. But what does get lost in the shuffle a little is that while she's diving headfirst into motherhood, she deserves a little time in the limelight considering this is a real moment to celebrate.

Jodi has been through the wars and has struggled a lot but has become a stronger person because of what she has been through. And it's stupid to dwell on the negative but its worth noting all the crap she's been through in the past 5 years and how this week officially marks the end of that era. Now we are a complete family and I know that means a lot to both of us.

But Jodi is the one that has made it all happen - she's the one that holds it all together. Please join me in raising a glass to her. I love you Jodi.

Day 3 - Over and Out

Day 3 marks the official end of Matthew related content as we switch our focus to the one thing that is on everyone's mind - Red Sox baseball.

The Sox won their first game in a week, halting a 5 game losing streak and maintaining a 2.5 game deficit with the Yankees who apparently play only home games from here on out.

Sorry .... I will keep the Sox talk to a minimum (your welcome)... back to our regularly scheduled Matthew content....

We took Matty out for his first walk in the neighborhood - he was unimpressed. I blame it on the weather or possibly at the leisurely pace with which Jodi pushed the carriage. Wait until I take him out on a jog!!!!

Belle Disenfranchised, Disgruntled?

Most people have been keeping up with our goings on via this blog, but there is someone who has had a chance to witness everything first hand and her name is Belle.

A lot of people have asked how Belle has been taking things and I am happy to report she's been hanging in there pretty well and dealing with things with aplomb and good humor. I am happy to report Belle has been taking things in stride. Of course, as I write this, she is barking at the neighbors outside.
