Matthew and the Mouse

Today Matthew had his first of what will likely be many run-ins with a certain famous mouse.

Here is the backstory, Jodi has been agitating to go to Disney On Ice, and while our trip to the Circus was a smashing success, you don't tempt fate twice. I knew from experience that Disney on Ice was to be avoided.

Fortunately Jodi got wind of a small Disney skating exhibition going on at the Frog Pond (a skating rink) on the Boston Common. It was going on during the afternoon, so we went down there today (it was really nice out, as you can see). After a little while Matthew came face to face with the Mouse and the rest of history. Actually, the rest is that after we met Mickey and Minnie as they toured around the sides of the skating rink, Jodi and Matthew actually snuck backstage for some personal pic's. You can see the large crowd of people - Jodi and Matty were the only ones that got their own private photo session with the Mice. (Jodi credits her dad with giving her the chutzpah to pull off such moves, and I believe her).
